The language services industry is filled with brilliant women and in 2022, 17% of LSPs in the top 100 were women owned.
Yes, they drive economic growth like any other companies,
but as Certified
Languages International recently pointed out in a recent tribute to
women-run LSPs, they also “promote gender equality and provide unique
perspectives on leadership that emphasize empathy, collaboration, and
inclusivity.”
So, as we come to the end of Women’s History Month, we’d
like to join in celebrating woman leadership in the language services industry.
Certified Languages spotlighted four women and the companies
they run, including our very own MasterWord CEO, Ludmila (Mila) Golovine:

Ludmila (Mila) Golovine, President & CEO

Lydia Callis, Owner
3. Jeenie

Kirsten Brecht Baker, Co-Founder & CEO

Ingrid Christensen, President
As the writer points out, it’s the success and impact of these women-owned businesses that “demonstrate the value of women’s leadership and entrepreneurship in the language services industry.”
